Casting spoilers below. Simply additional information, resumes and images for the new guest stars in "Bring on the Night." Absolutely no spoilers about the episode itself. . . . . . . . . . . . . Kennedy will be portrayed by Iyari Limon. According to IMDB.com her previous credits include: Double Teamed as Zoe Goldl (2002, TV movie, credited as Yari Limon) Undressed as Cindy (2000, TV series, throughout Season 3) King Cobra as Teen Girl (1999, movie, aka Anaconda 2) ER as Brenda (May 4th, 1995, TV series, episode: "Love Among The Ruins," Season 1, Episode 22) us.imdb.com/Name?Limon,+Iyari (Not much online yet about Iyari) Annabelle will be portrayed by Courtnee Draper. We got a much better look at it during a later scene, since she was wearing the shirt for the rest of the day. I thought this was a good ep. Things are heating up, and it's going to be interesting to see where things are going. I want to know what's up with the principal ... Disagree with you on the last scene ... I can't really place my finger on it, but something felt missing. The new Slayers have potential but could really use some more characterization. The Ubervamp doesn't seem very uber despite whupping on Buffy. It will be interesting if magical Willow has to come up against Ubervamp...I don't see him standing a chance. There were some really cute bits in this episode, such as Xander's frustration as his repairwork. Anya and Dawn made for a cute double act with their continued interrogation. Andrew is absolutely hilarious and will hopefully be around for goofy comic relief throughout the season. Oh, and can I just say "GO " even if it's not really Dru. I was kind of confused because I thought the person playing Molly was going to play Kennedy, but whatever. For a while when Buffy was in her "office" at the school I thought the picture on her desk was of Tara, but then I realized it was Dawn. The only potential slayer I didn't really like was Annabelle...she reminded me of Riley's wife Sam and Wesley from season three Buffy. Jane :anya

I was kinda thinkin since the moment she opened her mouth that she was gonna annoy the tar outta me... okie... things that stick out in this phrogie's mind... ...anyone notice the odd looks that kept crossing Anya's face? I mean... odder than her normally odd looks... (and I don't mean the glasses... are those new?)... there's something that's gonna happen with her, I think... ...um... let's see... tourture Spike by holding his head under water... um... HE DOESN'T BREATHE... I mean, it'd have been cool if it were holy water or something... but then it'd be more like giving him an acid head-wash... that'd bleach more than his hair... ...Andrew/Xander moment... "That was cool!" gotta love the utter look of disgust on Xander's face when he realises he has something in common with a 'geek.' Silly boy... he has more in common than he wants to admit... Ooh... here's a thought... Andrew realises his crush on Warren is futile, and turns his gaze to the Xan-man... -cackles like a madwoman- now -that- would be vengence even Anya would approve of... ...okay, here we have a Slayer-in-Training... one who's very by-the-book, taking notes and all when Buffy talks... and this is the one that goes running off by herself when the sun goes down? WHY? oh... yeah... plot device... ...Buffy's all freaked out by the First... going on about how she 'felt' this evil back when she fought it the first time... funny how I seem to remember her cracking her trademark jokes: The First: "Hmm. You think you can fight me? I'm not a demon, little girl. I am something that you can't even conceive. The First Evil. Beyond sin, beyond death. I am the thing the darkness fears. You'll never see me, but I am everywhere. Every being, every thought, every drop of hate." Buffy: "Alright, I get it. You're evil. Do we have to chat about it all day?" The First: "Angel will be dead by sunrise. Your Christmas... will be his wake." Buffy: "No." The First: "You have no idea what you're dealing with." Buffy: (dripping with sarcasm) "Lemme guess. Is it... evil?" If she was as worried about it back then, you'd have thought she would have done something about it back then... or at least started some kind of research... or something. Alright, granted, it was four years ago... but still... ...Dru... I tend ta agree with Spike here... the real Dru is much crazier. Felt strained here... and I don't think it was all writing... WHY? oh... yeah... plot device...>> It might just be me but I dont think the by the book slayers are really cut out for the life style. I would imagine that they probably do allright against run of the mill vamps but when they come across their first real big bad its about time to call up the next slayer in the line up. Besides active slayers seem to have a very strong Fight or Flight reflex when it comes to danger coming their way. They either head for the hills or stand their ground and attack into the onrushing horde. Dont know why in particular she ran but I dont think it was so much that she was afraid for herself but afraid for someone else. Perhaps first evil played a successful mind game on her. Dont know for sure.
