Tomorrow night! Woo and hoo! I have read a transcript and I am not going to give anything away.....but as a Tara (and amber) fan, I am looking forward to this episode tremendously!!!!!!!

Beth, I wish I shared your excitement. My emotions are more along the lines of "nervous." Wildfeeds always make me nervous, though, mainly because the people writing them can't help but slant them a little bit. It's how it goes on my screen that really matters. Anticipation. Is. Killing. Me.
Unless there's some glitch somewhere, I'll post a Tara-slanted review tomorrow morning, as per usual (including "TaraTime," how much of her we get to see, etc. ).

I'm excited as well.
S P O I L E R S I read today that willow and Tara have some ackward moments at the begiining of the Buffy Birthday bash but that by the end of the show they become closer than they have since the break-up. Woo Hoo. That which does not kill you will only make you stronger.

*L* I shake my fist at those of you who are able to watch the new episode! ughie, I've been Tara-depreived for like..ohh, lets say... THE WHOLE SIXTH SEASON!!! *sighs*
On a side note..I got to meet James Marsters (sp?) on Saturday!! Whoo-hoo!! He is such a sweetie! And funny as heck! ~Spooky >'o'< "Where there's a Will, you'll find a Tara."

First, YEAH! More Tara. More Amber. More Tara and Willow.
Yippee-cay-yeah! Second, meeting James Marsters must've been cool. I read this post from a fan at a website that he is very approachable. As far as I can remember, he was finished with playing with a band or doing a play, and he was leaving out back when two female fans approached him and asked him for an autograph and a few words. Now most people who have been on a stage for hours might be too tired but not James. Not only did he sign autographs, he spoke with the women for quite a while, which I thought was pretty cool. From what I hear, both James and Amber are some of the more personable, agreeable people from the show. I haven't heard anything negative about Alyson, Nick or Anthony, but who else gives fans hugs at conventions???? |

I shouldn't have said transcript...it was the wrong word to use........what I read was a summary done by someone watching a tape of the show....unfortunately I deleted it after I read it...but there are places you can watch the show or read this summary.....I don't know myself but there are people here alot more "plugged in" to the net that can tell you...sorry I can't help! Jim (psymonet) knows what he's doing.....I'm sure he can tell you......

- begin spoiler - I didn't really like this episode as much as the last one. The general plot wasn't very strong, and while it did move some storylines along, many of the storylines that exist at this point don't stir a lot of enthusiasm in me. I'll try to stick to the positive here, though. Tara's in it, of course. Lots of her! Over 18 minutes of Tara scenes (she may not be on-camera the whole time, but she's in the room). There are many big Tara scenes. Tara is what makes this episode worth watching. There are so many different facial expressions she does ... very cool. I got many of them in my screencaps. High points: * Tara is there!!! (Yayayayay!) * Willow seems to be making significant progress. Tara and Willow are now much more comfortable around eachother than they were at the beginning of the episode. This will be a high point for those hoping to see them back together soon. * The Dawn thing probably can't get any worse. They discover her stealing and learn what she's been thinking and feeling. * We discover that Halfrek might be Cecily (see Fool for Love). Spike enters the room and Halfrek says, "William?" She seems familiar to him, but he can't quite place her (demon face getting in the way). Halfrek then proceeds to fix her hair as she turns away from Spike. This is going somewhere. Will be interesting. * Tara defends Willow against Anya and Xander. Not a single stutter or hesitation in this speech. What's interesting is that Spike also defended Willow. He didn't get so many words in (a very pointed "Hey!" before Tara took over, plus general looks of disgust directed at A/X). He was very obviously Tara's backup in that scene. Interesting. Low points: * Two words: Spellcaster's Anonymous. * Xander and Anya were trying to force Willow to use her magic abilities against her will. Anya was just downright hateful toward Willow. * The writers setup Tara to fail. I wonder if the sword demon wasn't added just so Tara's spell would go wrong. I'm glad they made it clear that only the demon who cast the curse could break it, so it didn't make Tara look totally incompetent. It was still really frustrating for me to watch, though. * The Dawn issues in this episode weren't written very well at all -- it seemed very forced. One "... get out GET OUT GEEEET OOOOOUT!!!!!!" scream in the series will do just fine -- we still remember the last time. It takes away impact when instead of concentrating on what's going on you're thinking "stock footage, much?" * How does Buffy get from "new guidance counselor" to "gotta be a demon"? Bit of a stretch. I dunno. * Buffy's attack of Spike wasn't even addressed. Grrr. I'm sure I'll have more thoughts later. This has to be the best episode of Buffy ever...
Spoiler mode... Except for this shite ending... You'd think they'd have something more than just clicking her fingers... Would have been better to have Anya kill Halfrak or smash the pendant forcing her to exist on the mortal plane. Some thoughts,

Just got finished watching this.....I really loved it....story moving along nicely.....drama, comedy, great W/T....I won't go into details, but this is probably my favorite episode this season..after OMWF...And I will say this out loud and I am truly sorry life is so hard but some one must smack Dawn across the head!!! Nice to see Amber getting some witty lines! Also.......interesting note pointed out by wife...no stuttering...........
