OK as a new one here ( quite new ) I am reading everything that was written on this board, and gosh I am now sitting and crying dunno why ( gosh ) after reading all your posts. I hate this the best people always dye. It's always like that ( I need crying emoticon ) I love movies but I am always soo depressed when one of my characters dies. And ............. ( cries all the time ) and I haven't even actually seen all the episodes ( I have to collect them coz here only 3 first seasons been screened ) but I know what's gonna happen. coz before coming here my awful cruel friend told me : Oh don't be so happy Tara dies < rubs nose > in 6 season. Duh and it's now even worse when I am watching them and..... and I know what's gonna happen. ;;;;;((((((( and .............

i cried when Tara got her brain sucked out. and of course when she died! and i finally have my Amber Benson wall Shrine up! i have my Chance poster and picture. i have my autograph from MR and a picture i have of Amber and Michelle standing in front of a OMWF poster.( i bought it at MR! sunday i bought as much as i could find) and on the shelves by the wall is where i put all the stuff that can't be hung! lol so what else should i put up?

Well, there's this photo art you can get from the Buffy-vs-Angel web site: Buffy VS Angel. This prints are signed and numbered by the artist, so there is a limited number available. There is also web site out there that has signed photos of the cast that you can order. I'll go look for it and try to remember to post it here.

 it *is* pretty moving and profound to read all the posts on this board isn't it! Just goes to show how deeply people were affected by Tara ; Willow & Tara ; and BtVS !! Do try to enjoy the eps you are yet to see. I know it's hard, now that you know what becomes of Tara...... but, if you can just try to "live in the moment" of the show -- there is much beauty and magic to be experienced. Hearts wouldn't have been soooooo deflated if they hadn't first been so full....

Hey thanks for the good word. I will believe me I will. When I am watching those eps I have I am forgeting about what is going to happen. I am sooo much into movies that even if someone gonna tell me the ending I wan to see the beginning and how the action goes. YEah and reading all this posts and sometimes talking with some ppl is just wonderful/ and as Amber said BTVS has really the best fans. Even now I still miss Tara
The show is long since ceased production The Actor that portrayed her has moved onto other things Rightly so, Amber Benson is amazing. She took a character that could have very easily been just like shrubbery and gave us this wonderful woman to love. The abuse that she was put through still makes me cry. Sob in fact. Her family, Glory and the one person she was supposed to be able to trust her partner (not once but twice). Then her life was cut short by a bullet. There had been talk that they would bring Tara back,but have her go bad. For whatever reason, or how or why it didn't happen. I don't care to know that, don't want to know it really. |

Yes, we all miss her. We all cry for her. We all weep with each other and comfort our hearts. We wish she had stayed on and that they found another way to end the season. We could have enjoyed a wonderful ending to season six with Willow in Tara's embrace. Instead, Tara is killed ignomaniously by a stray bullet. So much for our wishes, so now she lives on, in us.

Yeah I wish she stayed too but anyway I am happy that Amber decided not to come back and become a bad Tara. And I agree with her that it would hurt soo many ppl for whom Tara was kind of good . .......man what;s the word ????????? Oh ppl just wanted to be like she was and that's beautiful. Eh anyway new season starts in Poland and Tara will come and wooohhhooo she's not dead yet here so AYYAYAYYYA haha I'm gonna see her whooopiieee

I know I should probably post this is the "Whatever happened to MKF" thread, but I need a touch of Tara Therapy and it has to do with Sara, who started this thread, so here goes.
Until last Saturday, I lived with a cat called Westminster. Photo of Wessie... When Sara wrote a little thing about Miss Kitty Fantastico (MKF in London), she used Wessie as her model. Wessie had lost an ear to melanoma -- white cats are susceptible -- a few years ago. Sadly, melanoma can be aggressive and some weeks ago she started having trouble eating. It turned out to be cancer again. On Saturday, having deteriorated very quickly, she was put to sleep. Sara also wrote a memorial for Tara that I've been re-reading as a memorial for Wessie... MKF visits Joss... There's a big gap in our house, now, since she's lived with us for more than twelve years. Nige |

 I know your pain I had to put my dog sleep. BUt u know don't worry later u will take another cat, that won't be the same of course but he or she will cover this hole in your heart and put some light into your house. I hope you will be ok. And by the way your kitty was really cuttie ........Saddly there will be no second Tara - actually that's good because no one can be like she was.

It's crazy really, there I was sitting reading some fan fiction when the tears started to roll.... The story was about Willow after the death of Tara and I got so upset, I rowed with my partner and said some dreadful things. I'm sorry and I shouldn't have....
I can't quite believe that even now, Tara's death really gets to me. I get really upset and angry and I've not felt like this about anything. I guess it's grief. I know that this is the best place to share and with the right people too. Having read some of these posts I don't think I'm alone. I just wanted to share, thanks for reading. just Nicks |

I really enjoyed Tara, despite the fact that I didn't watch the show while it aired. Amber Benson's portrayal made her a valuble and treasured character. I always feel watching the DVD videos, that Tara was the heart of the Scooby Gang. Despite the abuse she suffered, her experiences made her a wise and loving character, to the other characters and to the viewers.
