I just saw the best commercial!! It was a wife and husband looking at a pregancy test, waiting for the results. It turned positive, and then the mother stepped aside and it showed their teenage daughter, and she was the one who was pregnant. Great, great commercial........... shadowwolfie58~An entire acre! Cassie~~Its now a half an acre. Got some of it plowed under for free and the other part I took the weed wacker to. Still got a half acre to cut and pull. Can't use a lawn mower cuz of all the rocks. Some are the size of small bolders!

LONG POST TO FOLLOW: read if you want.... I had a fantastic weekend. I went to a Buffy con. The con was great. Met tons of people. Can't wait to see most of them again in NY at Moonlight Rising. The guests at the con were James Marsters, Andy Hallett, James Leary, Iyari Limon and Robin Atkin-Downes (Robin was in Reptile Boy and played Machilda - the snake). Friday night was the cocktail party for 100 con attendees for a smaller intimate gathering with the guests. All of the guests were in attendance except for Andy cos he had a prior engagement in CA so he was flying in Saturday. Robin was first to arrive - he posed for pics with attendees and mingled with us for a bit before heading up to the front of the room to serenade us. He was quite entertaining - singing songs and changing them so they were Buffy related. James Leary was next to arrive. He also posed for pics and mingled with everyone. Let me tell you - this guy is hilarious!!!! I can't wait to see him again in NY. Iyari joined the cocktail party next and posed and mingled with guests. She also is very lovely. Very approachable. They sat at the table with us for a bit while eating. Then James Marsters arrived - we were able to get pics with him. After all the pics - he sat at a table and security allowed people to sit there for about 10 minutes each and they would rotate people thru so you could ask him questions. He was simply - "WOW"!!! He is very humble, very intelligent, just simply amazing and its great to hear him talk about a wide range of topics. He talked a little about CHANCE and had nothing but great things to say about Amber and how she went about making CHANCE and what a creative genious she is for making the movie with such a low budget, set design and the whole direction of the movie in general. After the cocktail party there was Bronze Dance Party. Iyari and James L. popped in for a bit and were shakin' it on the dance floor. Saturday was the Q&A sessions with all the guests (minus Andy- cos his flight was delayed). I took my little niece with me and she had a blast meeting the guests - the person she most wanted to meet was James Marsters. When it was her turn to get something signed - her and James carried on a small conversation - I couldn't even get her attention to look at me so I could get a pic of her taken with him. Finally the promoter of the con was there and picked her up and lifted her over the table so I could get a pic. She was loving it!!! Heck I was lovin' it for her!!! As we were getting ready to walk away from the table James thanked her for coming to the con and called her a cutie-pie. She was flyin' high. I took her home after that. There was a banquet with the guests that night - but I wasnt in attendance - so I can't tell you anything about that. I did hear that the food was not so good. People were allowed to bid on a seat next to James Marsters at the dinner. A girl paid $6000. for the winning seat. The charity made out big with that!!! woohoo!!! So did the girl too - but damn---wish I could afford to do something like that. <sigh> There was a karaoke contest that night hosted by Andy Hallett. It was more like "Karaoke Idol". They had 90 people sign up to try out, but narrowed it down to 10 people for the actual contest. The dinner was running late - so while we were waiting for it to start - Andy did a little Q&A session for the folks in the room. He is too funny!!! He was very sleep deprived - which kinda made things hilarious. He is all about gossip and telling stories. Never a dull moment with him around. James Leary did join him on stage along with Robin and Dizzy (the host of the con). They were the celebrity judges for the contest. At the end of the contest - they sang a Backstreet Boys song There was another dance after that. Very long night...Sunday there were more Q&A sessions with the guests - this time including Andy. He is hilarious. Have I said that before? All the guests had excellent Q&A sessions. Andy and James Leary kept you laughing through-out the whole session. James Marsters talked about a wide range of things from Buffy, GoTR, Shakespeare, interests and such.... There is so much more I could blab about - but I will stop here. My family and I(minus one of my brothers) are flying out to Paris tomorrow morning...quick stop in Montreal along the way. We'll spend ten days in Paris, then about three or four in London. Fun fun. Well today was an interesting day for me... I was so tired I missed my Zero period (Marching Band), I found out some girl in band has been saying crap about me behind my back, and my best friend is STILL pissed at me for playing her bass when she left it at my house... Oh and I have no cavities according to my dentist today. I'm confronting that girl in band, not in a violent why, I'm not a person who likes to fight, I dispise fighting, just want to know why she said what she said. I'm not even going to talk to my best friend, she wants to get upset over something so little, fine by me. See at least last time we fought and not talked, it was more valid (bad boyfriends) but this time it's just childish. She always says to me "Oh get over it." Well maybe she should swallow her pride like she tells everyone else to. But at least I have no cavities! Haven't ever had one! Go me!

The Rob Zombie movie... I figuered that it wouldn't be to great. Seeing someone yelling like a psycho, "Dr. Satan!" just kind of pushes in the "sucky" category. Love the 2nd quote. And that 3rd quote... It's awesome!!!!!!

-4/22 was my postiversary and I forgot about it during all the hecticness with midterms and stuff. Has it really been 2 years?
-Pulled an 89% on a linguistics midterm I only had 3 hours or so to study for. If I ever start putting a real effort into this stuff I'm gonna be a threat.  @ self-X2 this friday! Already have tickets and can't wait. The advance reviews (which I've had to loosely skim) make it sound excellent. -Why can't I get a model of Serenity (the Firefly ship)?
