What do people think that others here should try that they may not have already.
The old cooking recipes thread was a good example of this. Example from things that I've picked up because of people here include :-
Books like The Secret History -thanks flip, The Survivor -Coax recommend this one to me at the start of the year in an old thread, The Harry Potter books -Every one going on about them I desided to see what the fuss was about.
Music like jeff buckley -I desided to see if everyone was right going on about...I picked up Grace...its ok, and today I was in town and feeling down so desided to get a CD to cheer myself up I noticed a Belly CD -Star- and remembered someone somewhere saying how good they were (shortie?) so desided to give it a try, listerning to it now and I think its one of the better CDs I've brought in a while.
So people what do you recommend the rest of us try Films, Music, Books, Food, Web sites?
Here are a couple of my recommendations :
Film -
Unbreakable. Its out on tape and DVD, if you get the chance watch it.
Web sites -
Dilbert for all those people who've ever worked with idiots an online comic strip.
Get Fuzzy Another online comic strip, if you've ever had a cat you'll get some of the jokes here...
Monty well just try it, another online comic strip.
"Early to bed, early to rise makes James a grouchy bastard"

Especially "Revolutionary Girl Utena" if you like kinda weird stories, but with really pretty music and visuals. Also, "Cardcaptor Sakura" for your cutsie quota with an odd-bent every now and then (gosh, many of the main character allude to being gay. It's kinda neat). Umm... "Evangelion" 'cause it's a must-see, as well as "Record of the Lodoss War", but don't bother with the sequel series. It sucks! There's lots of other good ones, but those are the ones I like.
