Interesting essay and you make many valid and intriguing points. I would argue over the minutae regarding whether Tara's death was necessary (which
I've never agreed with for reasons that go beyond the cliche) and unlike others I do not consider Joss Whedon's orifices to be solar powered, nor do i
consider him a genius, and as such am quite prepared to have a go at him and question his motives in this matter as I am unconvinced his motives were as pure
as he makes them out to be.
But it is an excellent essay nonetheless and I enjoyed reading it immensely
