Yet another new film on the horizon! Amber is co-starring in Mountain Time, currently in production in North Carolina. The official website is at Mountain-Time.com (there are a couple of dead links there, unfortunately, including the video interviews with some of the cast). A very good friend of mine who is the production designer on this film tried to call me and let me know about Amber, but of course, I had already moved from North Carolina (where this film was made) to Guam. It sounds like a nice film and I'm looking forward to seeing it for 3 reasons: 1)Amber 2)my friend worked on it 3)filmed in my "home" state not far from where I was born Teresa "What's so cool about this business is that it's collaborative. While there's nothing wrong with SIMPLE THINGS, it sounds a bit generic to me, whereas I thought MOUNTAIN TIME stood out. Of course, anything could happen between now and the release, so who knows what title the film will ultimately have!

Clashing against the ways of the small community he is forced to deal with the recent loss of his wife while reconnecting with his 9 year old son, and learning a different pace of life. Simple Things does sound more accurate like something is being strived for. Mountain Time hmm that's a time zone. Not a great title for a movie that is depicts an emotional journey. Great for a travel movie title though. Just my opinion.

Not only is there a trailer, but the name has changed. "Simple Things" is the new title to watch. The trailer has some nice Benson shots, too, which is a plus (even if it kind of looks like she might be dying; again).
